Discreet~
Fluoride is not detectable by taste and cannot be filtered out. It is odorless and you can buy the best filter, it wont work. It cannot be boiled out if anything that concentrates it. Only way to have pure water is Steam Distillation or Reverse Osmosis. I would prefer Steam Distillation only because it has been proven that RO still contains aluminum/heavy metals in the water which have been linked to Alzheimer's (but you would be drinking that plus more so its better than nothing). Steam Distillation is basically all the steam captured and that's the water. Everything else is left behind. So the best choice would be Steam Distillation which is easy to find bottled but usually they will add fluoride back in after!! So just do your research.

Father of Fluoridation!
It was Dr. Trendley Dean, "the father of fluoridation", who first hypothesised that fluoridation would protect teeth from cavities. It was also he who declared that it was safe. In 1945 Dean established the first trial of fluoridation of the water supply in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since that time, however, he has twice confessed in court that statistics from the early studies, allegedly supporting the use of fluoridation in community water systems, were invalid.

If your baby is primarily fed infant formula, using fluoridated water might increase the chance for mild enamel fluorosis, but enamel fluorosis does not affect the health of your child or the health of your child’s teeth. (so contradictory)

More than 72 percent of the U.S. population is served by fluoridated community water systems as of 2008.
No one is measuring my flouride level. A pea sized amount of toothpaste contains as much as an 8 oz glass of water and we are not to consume the toothpaste.

Very informative on the history of fluoride
A little information actually ALOT of info on fluoride and why I avoid it!
I have been avoiding fluoride as much as possible for a good 3 months at least. I say avoid because it really is impossible to avoid. Its in toothpaste, the water supply, foods/beverages that are made with tap water. It is also in baby formula, added to infant water, and in the Gerber baby hot dogs and so many things that it is impossible to keep track. I watched a video that sparked my interest on my facebook page, which led me to research it like a mad woman. Once you know its hard to not constantly think about. My dentist does not use fluoridated water at his practice or at his home. He has pamphlets in the waiting area from Price-Pottenger on living a healthy lifestyle and includes only using reverse osmosis water. You have to be careful because it will not say on the bottle if it contains fluoride. You have to contact the company and ask. The one I know for sure is Glaceau Smart Water and Vitamin Water. That is nice because you can drink something besides regular water and they have good flavors. A little pricey but you can catch the sales. I fill up gallons of water from a Natural Pure station at our grocery store Woodmans. It is reverse osmosis water free of fluoride, chlorine, everything. I have started buying the frozen 100% juice (Langers) and Ill take a scoop of that and mix it with the good water. The premade juices are made with tap water. I also use only fluoride free toothpaste. Natures Gate and Tom's of Maine both carry them. It takes awhile to convert because it really is a life change and requires discipline. I look at my body as my temple and it really is the thing most worth taking care of along with my children and even my animals :) I boil noodles etc in the RO water also. I am doing an experiment of my own..giving my German Shepherd/Mastiff mix only RO water and I want to see if he has bone issues/hip displaysia. You may say it is normal with old age but is it?? You hear about people as early as their 50s walking and a bone just breaks. I just read an article concerning a link between wrinkles and low bone density. The lower the bone density the more wrinkles. Could fluoride have something to do with it? I will post a bunch of good links in my next post. I have alot in my head and its kind of all over the place so please FOLLOW this blog I promise it will be interesting and hopefully change your mind.
