A little information actually ALOT of info on fluoride and why I avoid it!
I have been avoiding fluoride as much as possible for a good 3 months at least. I say avoid because it really is impossible to avoid. Its in toothpaste, the water supply, foods/beverages that are made with tap water. It is also in baby formula, added to infant water, and in the Gerber baby hot dogs and so many things that it is impossible to keep track. I watched a video that sparked my interest on my facebook page, which led me to research it like a mad woman. Once you know its hard to not constantly think about. My dentist does not use fluoridated water at his practice or at his home. He has pamphlets in the waiting area from Price-Pottenger on living a healthy lifestyle and includes only using reverse osmosis water. You have to be careful because it will not say on the bottle if it contains fluoride. You have to contact the company and ask. The one I know for sure is Glaceau Smart Water and Vitamin Water. That is nice because you can drink something besides regular water and they have good flavors. A little pricey but you can catch the sales. I fill up gallons of water from a Natural Pure station at our grocery store Woodmans. It is reverse osmosis water free of fluoride, chlorine, everything. I have started buying the frozen 100% juice (Langers) and Ill take a scoop of that and mix it with the good water. The premade juices are made with tap water. I also use only fluoride free toothpaste. Natures Gate and Tom's of Maine both carry them. It takes awhile to convert because it really is a life change and requires discipline. I look at my body as my temple and it really is the thing most worth taking care of along with my children and even my animals :) I boil noodles etc in the RO water also. I am doing an experiment of my own..giving my German Shepherd/Mastiff mix only RO water and I want to see if he has bone issues/hip displaysia. You may say it is normal with old age but is it?? You hear about people as early as their 50s walking and a bone just breaks. I just read an article concerning a link between wrinkles and low bone density. The lower the bone density the more wrinkles. Could fluoride have something to do with it? I will post a bunch of good links in my next post. I have alot in my head and its kind of all over the place so please FOLLOW this blog I promise it will be interesting and hopefully change your mind.

Hmm interesting.. I have to get myself a reverse osmosis water filter as well. I use earth paste, completely natural toothpaste with no fluoride and no chemicals and best of all you can actually swallow it since its natural.
